“Moving to Alaska to work for Northern Hearing has provided me with opportunities both personal and professional that I could never have imagined. The cases I’ve seen, and adventures I’ve had in Alaska are experiences I couldn’t get anywhere else. I’ve felt so supported by the team at NHS throughout the ups and downs of the last four years and couldn’t ask for a better job right out of school.”

“Northern Hearing Services has provided a dynamic, autonomous work environment that has supported my pursuit of maintaining cutting-edge clinical practice and lofty career goals as an Audiologist. There are no barriers to providing elite Audiology services in an independent office atmosphere. I have grown to love Alaska and have raised a family here. I am forever grateful for the diversity and uniqueness Alaska offers in its communities, residents, and recreational opportunities. Living in Alaska provides a global perspective that I have not experienced in other places in the US.”

“What I love most about working at NHS is working with like-minded audiologists and staff; we all want our patients to be hearing the best they can be and we often work together, even across offices, to achieve that goal. Teamwork makes the dream work! I have also enjoyed working in a small private practice that is widely respected by the surrounding community and beyond– NHS has established a great reputation for providing excellent, patient-centered services and it is such a fulfilling experience providing hearing healthcare to Alaskans who respect us and have great stories!
Another perk of working at NHS is what comes AFTER work 🙂 I get to recreate in some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. I can backpack to a glacial fed lake surrounded by fireweed, hop on my bike and hit the Moose Loop, watch the Northern Lights in my backyard, kayak to a glacier and see hundreds of waterfalls scaling the mountains along the way and bike up to an alpine lake to ice skate on wild ice. There are endless activities year-round to soak up the views and there is incredible beauty in every season!”
